Make your event more engaging with an interactive angklung experience where guests become part of the music.
Chaka Music offers an engaging, conductor-led angklung program that invites audiences to play music together. Instead of simply watching a performance, participants receive their own angklung and learn to perform songs collectively under the guidance of a professional conductor.
Suitable for churches, corporate gatherings, community celebrations, cultural events, and team-building activities, this experience combines Indonesian musical heritage with an accessible, participatory format.
How Does Interactive Angklung Work?
1. Angklung Instruments for Your Participants
We provide angklung rental for interactive sessions with up to 200 instruments, depending on the event’s requirements and arrangement.
Each participant receives an instrument and contributes to the collective performance. Together, the group creates a musical experience that encourages listening, cooperation, and shared achievement.
2. Live Conductor and Hand-Sign Instructions
A conductor leads the participants using clear hand signals and conducting gestures to indicate musical entrances, timing, and transitions.
Participants learn when to play their assigned notes and how to follow the conductor, allowing the entire group to perform together—even without extensive musical experience.
3. Real-Time Numerical Notation on Screen
For a more accessible experience, numerical notation (not angka) can be displayed on a screen during the session.
The visual notation helps participants follow their musical parts and stay synchronized with the conductor.
The display can be delivered through an LED screen or projector, depending on the venue, technical setup, and event budget.
4. Optional Music Playback
Chaka Music can also produce accompanying instrumental playback to support the angklung performance.
Playback can be tailored to the selected songs and arranged to complement the participants’ performance. This option is particularly useful when the event requires a fuller musical sound or a more polished presentation.
Custom playback production is available as an additional service.
